Prada Cervo Lux Handbag And Bodyart

Posted in Drawing, Hobbies by decem

I had never felt so tensed before. My work was engaged into this specified activity. Which is, to design a temporary tattoo onto a model’s body. Basically is to brush out an idea out of a handbag.

I reached the Mediacorp magazines’ production site in the morning with a pouch of body colour pigments and brushes. Met up with Tabitha, a fashion stylist and later on introduced to the photographer, Kelvin Chia.

The first impression stepping in to the studio was like “wow”. It wasn’t about seeing too many pretty girls in their bikinis inside but more to myself being welcome onto something they require. At that moment, i realised the crews in that fashion studio were typically young people. But surely enough i wasn’t the oldest.

I suddenly felt so great about this gifted talent. Not knowing this fine day would come to me in a deference manner. Passing through the crowded make up and dressing area into the lounge where models rests themselves, i comfy myself for a bit trying to get use of the glances and noise. Then came the model, Bruna.

While not wasting too much time i actually came out with a flora design which the handbag colors are resembling. So i was pretty nervous at the first few strokes, totally different from the tattooing momentum. Too many observants, too much noise and too focus. Unable to relax and stable for quite some time, but later on normalized in a usual state. And that’s when confidence and inspirations came alive.

It took about 5 hours or more to complete the paintings as i was also staying on to see their photo shootings which took up for about an hour. The feeling about that place is nice so i don’t mind not leaving that soon. Initially Bruna doesn’t even know what i had done on her back, only after the few hours of strained posture and snaps, when she was about to leave she saw the photos and then came up to me with a smile and added some audible comments.

After all, i was asked of an idea of a beautiful body. So just in case you’ve missed that line on the ELLE magazine on the 2008 June issues, i stated it as “it isn’t just about being flawless. Modifications can also make a body more attractive.”
