I am Cookie

Hi my name is cookie, i am 2 years old. I was born in the year of 2005, 18days of the 10th month. Woof woof… As you should know i am a Shih-Tzu breed and most articulate people call me a Sheet-Sue. But not Shit Shoe lor…

Befitting my noble Chinese ancestry as a highly valued, prized companion and palace pet, i am proud of bearing, have a distinctively arrogant carriage with head well up and tail curved over the back. Woof!

My great ancestors were originated in Tibet where they were kept in temples as sacred dogs. It is known that they were occasionally given to the Emperors of China during the Manchu dynasty (17th century) as a tribute of great honor and that is how they came to be established in China and were kept in the palace and carefully guarded and cared for by the court eunuchs. Not bad huh?? Woof woof…

One of the strongest characteristics of me is my personality. I am a friendly, nonaggressive dog that is a good companion for children and other breeds of dogs. Shih-Tzus are known for their fun-loving play, romping around the apartment or wherever but not segregation ok?? Heh heh heh….

I am also a people oriented dog, i cherish no more than the love of people. I will sit patiently, remaining still with my eyes gazing intently on your face waiting for you to call me over to be patted. Besides, i am not a one person dog. I am happy to entertain any stranger, once accepted by the family. This is one reason that shih tzus are becoming popular. Because we make friends where ever we go! Heh heh.. Woof!!

A lap dog personality, not high strung nor demanding. As i will be content during the day to lie in a corner with my legs stretched out behind me, snoring softly. If i have a choice i would prefer to be curled up in your lap.. U know??

My pa and ma dotes on me alot. Though i’ d always misbehave when they are not at home. I used to pee around (esp. on their bed and sofa) , tear up things and throw my food all over the place. But all these actions will only met my fate beaten up like crazy and isolation in the toilet. Then i will pretend to cried and my parents will be moved easily and sayang me again. Heh heh…

I guess i am lucky to be home with them. Although they hardly have time to bring me for a walk but they are always with me when they are home. And they even fetched me a lovely girlfriend. They call her brownie but i would prefer honey… Woof woof.. In fact we are getting an illegal married soon. For that i won’t be lonely at home anymore. Heh heh heh… In fact i don’t even care if they are at home and i rather they don’t come back because they would scold me if i kiss brownie. Maybe she’s still young but she’s really cute and lovely.. Oh gosh, they’re back. Gotta go woof! woof! woooooo…
