Fishing at Tanjong Rhu
Posted by decem under Fishing , Sports & Outdoor.

It’s a Saturday morning and as we walked through marina promenade, the rain was down to sprinkles. And later on the sun blotted out and gave a good sign for fishing.
Before that, we had bought 300 grams of live prawns from “Hot Spots” along Beach road and then marched towards “Joe tackle shop” for a light familiar talk. Uncle Joe is a nice person and has a lot of fishing experiences and fantasies. We had squandered alot on his recommendations. And he is willing to perform all the informations you would wish to know about fishing.
We were really influenced by his teaching at once, and sometimes we would get down to his shop to help up with his stocks, just to hear a piece of advice on our next trip. Those who wants to buy budget stuffs can visit his shop for a better and safer investment.
The water looks calm and still, waves filling it higher. And the dragonboat teams were rolling by in accordance with the instructors’ command. Many movements by the rod, bringing excitement. The beneath were all rocks, Groupers living in. Waiting for its response. Then one by one landed. The joggers witness the catches and commented something. I guessed we were just lucky, having 3 scamp groupers (Mycteroperca phenax) and two lane snappers (Lutjanus synagris). And also 1 Blue Swimmer Crab (Portunus pelagicus).
We packed up and left when the shrimps were used up. Tide is low then, we were happy and had planned the recipes for the fishes already.
