Nelayana at RSYC

It’s been awhile..
The year 2008 was great. New year, new plans and starting anew. For a better outcome definitely.
The monsoon period has finally come to an end. So we could finally plan a fishing trip, which is something great and new for us.
Nelayana, the mother ship that charters almost all fishing lovers, where travels along overseas and local, its well-known professionalism is, was and has always being toss around in the conversations and experiences shared by fishing amateurites.
The comfy of it, the facilities, the catches and their spots, the guides and their teaching, which to me is a fishing paradise where you can discover your own lacked of knowledge and upgrade at the same time. That is why their bookings has already been taken up till 2009 next year. It may sounds exaggerating but believed it, it’s so true. And if you tried it once, you would want to have it more, just like the others, like me.
We were anticipated by one of our buddy, to the Nelayana at RSYC (Republic of Singapore Yacht Club). A place where is luxurious and cozy, romantically surrounded by flashing lights and icy wind blowing onto your face.
We aboard at 8 sharp and head into the air-conditional chamber where all men gathers. Talked for a little and set up the gears, filling with high hopes and excitement.
There are 12 planks of bed, pillows and sounds of the nature. Refrigerator and tv monitored also with a dvd player. The whole boat turns to be a chalet. And supper was well- prepared by a crew. Delicious.
Most of us spend through the night sleeping because the beds and the atmosphere were too attractive. But we also caught some goodies like a grouper of 3kg, two 0.5 snappers, one 4 kg and a 1.5kg snapper.
It was fun after all, the people are fun, the scenery was great and we learned alot of things throughout the trip. We looked forward for the next trip with them and all thanks to Steven, our fishing buddy!
